Sales managers oversee representatives and make decisions based on the needs of the firm they are employed through. Business majors who enjoy working with people, marketing, and the challenge of selling will excel in the sales management specialization.

Sales Management Coursework

Business majors who are enrolled in a sales management program will take courses in management, communication, marketing, and sales. Topics like advertising, psychology, and public relations may also be studied depending on the program. 

Educational Requirements

Business majors who are interested in working in sales management would be well served with an associate's or bachelor's degree. In some cases, sales experience and a certificate from an accredited program will suffice.
